Powerpoints at the Worlds in Perth
25 Powerpointers travelled over to Perth to swim at the FINA World Championships, 2008.For some, months of preparation was coming to a nervous-wracking peak.
The aim was to somehow swim a PB, in the hope that "your best" would win a medal at the highest level - top 10 places receiving the distinction.
Little did we know that Powerpointers would win a lot of medals, including gold, and be a dominant presence at Challenge Stadium - albeit wearing fluoro green!
Perhaps the best way to see the level of achievement is to give the highest ranking place for each individual, as well as all top 3 medal winners. Thank you once again to Helen Whitford for her superb recording of results.

Congratulations to all those who swam well, to those who won top 10 medals [I'm jealous], and to those who won top 3 place medals - which usually needed a state or national record.
A special congratulations to Helen Whitford for her stunning swims, including a World Record.
