Latest news from the competition subcommittee
Dear Powerpointers,
Casey Seals Meet (21 July)
We had a good turn up of 11 Powerpointers, all keen to practice their skills for States. The usual suspects were there: Archer, Liz, Stuart, Shane, Peter R, Marijke, Helen, Laurie, Herbert, Rosa and Jennie. It was a fun night, and we came away with a swag of State and National records, so it was well worth the effort!
State Records went to: Liz Gosper (25m freestyle, 25 breaststroke, 25 butterfly)Marijke Alderson (25 freestyle, 25 breaststroke)Stuart Moffatt (25 freestyle)Helen Whitford (200 IM, 50 backstroke)Rosa Montague (200 IM)
National Records went to: Shane Gore (25 butterfly)Stuart Moffatt (25 breaststroke)Jennie Bucknell (25 freestyle, 25 backstroke, 25 butterfly)
